1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using D1 Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access or use D1 Studio.

2. License Terms

D1 Studio is licensed, not sold, under the following terms:

• License is personal and non-transferable
• Each license can be activated on up to two machines at a time
• License is valid only for the duration of your active subscription
• You may not sublicense, sell, lease, or rent your license

3. Subscription and Payments

• Subscription fees are charged either monthly ($5/month) or yearly ($35/year)
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Refunds are only available within 24 hours of initial purchase
• You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account
• Prices are subject to change with notice

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of D1 Studio
• Attempt to bypass license validation or activation mechanisms
• Use D1 Studio for any illegal purposes
• Share or distribute license keys
• Use D1 Studio in a way that could damage or overburden systems

5. Intellectual Property

D1 Studio and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by D1 Studio and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

D1 Studio is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall D1 Studio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use D1 Studio
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from D1 Studio
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted

8. Data Security and Privacy

D1 Studio operates locally on your machine and:

• Does not collect or store API keys, account IDs, or database configurations
• Keeps all database operations and configurations local to your machine
• Only collects email, name, and hardware identifier for subscription purposes
• Processes payments securely through Stripe

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to D1 Studio immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

• Technical contact is provided via email during subscription period
• Software updates are included in your subscription
• We are not obligated to provide contact for modified versions of D1 Studio
• contact is limited to the current and previous major versions
